Grampian Police Commemorative Coins
I am pleased to offer for sale, on behalf of the North East Scotland Police Welfare Fund (NESPWF), these Grampian Police Commemorative Coins – or ‘Challenge Coins’ as they are well known globally. Such coins are growing in popularity amongst Police Officers around the world as a collectable item and are available now to buy for the price of £7 (+ postage) with all funds going to the NESPWF – a charity which exists to support you, the Police Family of the North East of Scotland.
Side 1 features the familiar Grampian Police Crest upon a subdued chequered background in a nod to the diced band of our hats, with the crest flanked by a small Saltire on each side in acknowledgement of the fact the force became part of Police Scotland.
Side 2 boasts an outline of the Grampian region, along the top is the strapline ‘Keeping our communities safe’, along the bottom are the years 1975 – 2013, the years in which the force operated. On each side of the map of Grampian there is a nod to the forces which came before Grampian – ‘SNECC 1949 – 1975’ and ‘ACP 1818-1975’. The entire coin is bound by a gold rope detailing.
These coins are an ideal collectors item, a small memento of your time in the force or indeed would make an ideal gift to friends and family with an interest in Policing.
To order a coin please complete an order form at the following link https://forms.gle/tbW3BDieiR4DMmJV7
We’ve had huge interest already, so there will be a delay in delivery of over a month at least however you won’t be asked for payment until your order is sent out.
